During 2019 (and to be used as part of our Jubilee gathering 8/9 July), UTU would like to publish 50 guest blog posts of around 300 words, each with an insight into how UTU has shaped your discipleship and/or ministry. Please send your contributions to christine.dutton@methodist.org.uk by end January 2019. If possible, please attach a photo of yourself and/or your context. Alternatively, please post contributions to the UTU office.
2019 marks the Urban Theology Union’s (UTU’s) 50th anniversary, a significant milestone. All are welcome to join their celebrations. On Monday, 8 July 2019, there will be a chance to meet friends old and new with conversation, food, reminiscing and creating between us a visual history of UTU, using the recollections of those present. After lunch, there will be a session of visioning for the future. The Jubilee celebration on Monday 8th will flow into the Summer School on the evening of the 8th and through the day of Tuesday 9th, when current Practice Interpretation work will be shared and further developments discussed.
