We are delighted to announce the appointment of Helen Coates as UTUs new Office Manager.
Helen will join us from September 2017.
Welcoming Helen to the team, UTU Director, Keith Hebden, said, “Helen has already begun to get to know the staff and some of our members and clearly is going to bring a lot of the system changes we need to get us fit to adapt to the challenges we face – we’re really excited to have her on board.”
After the UTU Staff Retreat, Helen commented, “I’m looking forward to getting to know UTU members. It’s exciting to be joining at a time of change for the organisation – my hope is that I’ll be able to put systems and structures in place to enable UTU to grow and develop.”
Having taken a break from paid work with her young children, Helen comes to us with a great mix of skills and experience from working the Citizens Advise Bureau to her work as Welfare Manager at the St Wilfred’s Centre in Sheffield.
With her personal commitment to discipleship and theology and her professional experience working with small charities and their partners we are confident of a really strong appointment to our staff team.
